On December 22, 2024, the OCI Foundation celebrated the 2024 Christmas with “Amumu Wives” , which is the Association of women married to men from the Amumu Village of Nsugbe, Anambra State, Nigeria.

The OCI Foundation’s President (Onyebuchi Chris Ifediora) is from Amumu Village of Nsugbe, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Established in 2016, the OCI Foundation is an international NGO that is registered in Nigeria (2016), Australia (2018) and the UK (2023). It has activities across 3 major areas, which are to “Promote and Advance Health”, “Advance Education”, and “Advance Social & Public Welfare among the Nigerian populace.

Since its creation, indigenes of Nsugbe, the Founder’s home town, have been major beneficiaries of the OCI Foundation’s activities, particularly its annual educational scholarship schemes, and social welfare/empowerment programs. More benefits are expected in the coming years, not just for Nsugbe indigenes, but the rest of Nigerians.
