Finalists emerge for the Grande Finale of the OCI Foundation’s “ArOY Health Campaign Schools Challenge (AHCSC)”, scheduled for February 4th, 2022

Twelve finalists have finally emerged for the Grande Finale of the inaugural OCI Foundation’s “ArOY Health Campaign Schools Challenge (AHCSC)”, which is scheduled for February 4th, 2022 (Global World Cancer Day), at Awka, the capital city of Anambra State, Nigeria.

This follows the completion of the zonal quiz competitions across the six educational zones of the Post Primary Schools Service Commission (PPSSC) in Anambra State. These zones, and the dates that the quizzes were held in them, include Nnewi Zone (on 07/10/2021, Otuocha Zone (12/10/2021), Ogidi Zone (14/10/2021), Onitsha Zone (28/10/2021), Aguata Zone (01/12/2021), and Awka Zone (02/12/2021).

The Anambra AHCSC, being staged in conjunction with the PPSSC, is designed to enhance engagement with the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign, which, in September 2019, introduced anti-breast and anti-cervical cancer teachings into the curriculum of all public senior secondary schools in Anambra State.
