Mr Samuel Agwa (Head, Advocacy Team, Arm Our Youths Campaign)
Mr Samuel Agwa is a Certified Management Consultant. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Home Management, and had a brief stint lecturing at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria, between 2000-2008.
Between 2009 and 2015, he worked with the Benue State Government of Nigeria in various capacities, including as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on International Relations and Development, as well as the State Coordinator for the New partnership for Africa Development (NEPAD)/International Relations.
From 2015 to 2019, he functioned with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Nigeria as the Head of Office in Makurdi, and later, as the Assistant Liaison Officer in Abuja Business Office, Nigeria.
He currently runs Eternity Synergies Limited, a company involved with Public Policy and Governance, Advocacy, CSOs engagement, Agribusiness and Livelihoods Promotion, and Management Consulting. He has been the Vice President, of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), being himself a poet and a script writer. He co-founded Eternity Agro Cooperative Society Limited targeted at supporting indigent farmers with facilities for SME agribusiness value chain.
Mr Agwa has been involved with youths in the past 20 years, as mentor and coach, in addition to promoting many social campaigns targeted at developing skills and competencies of young people.
Since May 2019, he has been involved with the OCI Foundation’s ArOY Campaign at partnership levels, for building networks and stakeholder sponsorship across Nigeria.
