A number of VIPs from Anambra State of Nigeria, including past and aspiring governors of the State, along with the current First Lady of the State and other dignitaries, were either physically present, or officially represented at the event.

In addition to the OCI Foundation, the “Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation (SWAHF)”, founded by Rev. Dr. Austin Epunam (who is also the OCI Foundation’s National Champion) was also an official partner at the event.

The OCI Foundation’s Team was led by its Domestic Liaison officer, Mrs Imelda Emeka, and included Mr Ikenna Onuzulike, Mrs Anthonia Chigbata and Ms Chidimma Umeokafor, along with other members from the SWHAF.

The OCI Foundation’s involvement was an opportunity to promote its Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign, which seeks to empower Nigerians with anti-breast and anti-cervical cancer messages. Mrs Imelda Emeka made a presentation to guests at the event, and flyers and textbooks were distributed. It is expected that the OCI Foundation will partner with WAFAI at a later date to provide more detailed anti-cancer campaign for the married couples, their families and others.
