OCI Foundation features in “Breast Cancer Awareness Day”, as the Foundation’s Dr Fatima INUSA joins other panelists to enlighten Nigerians (25/10/21)

Breast Cancer is one of the central themes of the Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign, which is the OCI Foundation’s novel, Harvard-endorsed, WHO-supported, and evidence-based health promotion initiative that primarily seeks to introduce anti-breast and anti-cervical cancer programs into the NYSCs orientation activities across Nigeria. It also aims to include preventive teachings into the academic curriculum of all senior secondary schools in Nigeria’s 36 states (and the FCT) before the end of 2025.

The Campaign has also introduced the CerviBreast App (a free and interactive mobile phone application) and the Gynocular Project (for free and/or highly-subsidized digital cervical cancer screenings), as novel ways of boosting anti-cancer services to Nigerians.

Dr Fatima INUSA is the OCI Foundation’s Director of Gynocular Project.
