OCI Foundation features on “Day 3” of the Nigerian Bar Association’s 2020 Week in Onitsha, Nigeria (11/12/2020).

Today, Friday December the 11th, 2020 the OCI Foundation will be featuring prominently at the ongoing Nigerian Bar Association’s (NBA) Week in Onitsha, Nigeria. This is part of the activities for the Nigerian Bar Association’s (NBAs) “2020 Bar Week” (December 9^th to 13^th, 2020).The NBA is the peak body of all legal practitioners in Nigeria, and is set to recognize the OCI Foundation in a special award during the a special dinner tonight.

The Foundation has donated a Toyota Corolla vehicle to the NBA (changed from initially-advertised Honda Civic), which will be given out in raffle draw at the event dinner tonight. This is part of the OCI Foundation’s quest to expand its activities into the provision of pro-bono legal services to indigent Nigerians.

As part of its Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign, the OCI Foundation will also be delivering a talk today on BREAST, CERVICAL AND PROSTATE CANCER PREVENTION strategies.

The Chairman of the Onitsha Branch of the NBA, Barr Onyechi ONONYE, is the OCI Foundation’s Legal Adviser, while our 8-man delegation is led by the Foundation’s National Champion, Rev Dr Ifeanyi Epunam.

The health lecture will be delivered on behalf of the OCI Foundation by Dr Chukwuanugo Ogbuagu of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Nigeria. Others in our team include Young G Obi (our Director of Media Productions), along with Chief Ikenna Onuzulike, Dr (Mrs) Ekene Ogbuagu, Mrs Anthonia Chigbata, Ms Chidimma Umeokafor, and Mrs Vivienne Onyekwelu, all of which are members of the OCI Foundation in Anambra State of Nigeria.
