Youths and Sustainable Peace: OCI Foundation’s President addresses Global Youths under YAPJEN; Tasks them om “Health as an SDG and Peace Vehicle (July 3RD, 2021)

The OCI Foundation’s President, Assoc Prof Chris Ifediora, has delivered a speech on “The Role of The Youth Achieving Sustainable Peace”, with a particular focus on “Health as an SDG and Peace Vehicle and the “The ArOY Health Campaign”

The Virtual event was part of an International UN SDG Youth Engagement program. It was organised by the Global Youth Advocates for Peace, Justice and Empowerment Network (YAPJEN), in conjunction with Ebonyi Ambassador Movement (EBAM).

There were attendees and other speakers from multiple countries, including the Philippines, Georgia, India, Malaysia and Nigeria, among others.

This outing marks another high-level engagement between Dr Ifediora and Global Youths. In June 2021, global youths under the aegis of the Global Youth Leaders Network (GYLeN), honoured Dr Chris Ifediora with an award as on “Selfless Humanitarian Service to Humanity”.  Details can be found HERE.
