On Saturday, December the 4th, 2021, the OCI Foundation received her 20th award since August 2020, as it’s President, Dr Chris Ifediora, was honoured with a “Global Youth Humanitarian Award for Excellence” Award by the Global Youth Leaders Network, GYLeN, (04/12/2021)“. The current recognition came courtesy of the Global Youth Leaders Network (GYLeN), whose members from Mexico gathered in Abuja, Nigeria, for the “Second Edition of GYLeN International Exchange Program/Launching of Her Global Youth Mentorship Nigeria Pilot Project“.
The Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign is a novel, Harvard-endorsed, WHO-supported, and evidence-based health promotion initiative of the OCI Foundation, which primarily seeks to introduce anti-breast and anti-cervical cancer programs into the NYSCs orientation activities across Nigeria. It also aims to include preventive teachings into the academic curriculum of all senior secondary schools in Nigeria’s 36 states (and the FCT) before the end of 2025.
