Roseline Ify Anijekwu (Champion, Arm Our Youths Campaign, Lagos, Nigeria)

As the Founder and CEO of Caverra World, Mrs Anijekwu has demonstrated a strong commitment to a lifelong goal of inspiring and motivating teenagers in the society. Her activities are well aligned with the overall goals of the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Campaign. So it comes as no surprise that she accepted to be a Champion of this course. Her desire to ensure that Nigerian teens strive for greatness and achieve excellence in life and in their chosen endeavours are the very reasons we are proud to have her in the ArOY Campaign Team as a Champion.

Roseline had her early education at Royal Nursery and Primary School, a British School in Kano, Nigeria, while her secondary (high) school education was at the Federal Government College (FGC), also in Kano. Rather unsurprisingly, she was the Head Girl (Senior Prefect) of the FGC, Kano, between 2004 and 2005. After her secondary education in Kano, she proceeded to the Lagos State University (LASU), where she studied Computer Science.

Through the Caverra world, Anijekwu organizes a program called the “Teens Blissful Moment”, which is a “Teen Hangout” event held on the first and third Saturday of every month at  Festac Town, Lagos, Nigeria. Acting as a Teen Coach in these events, Mrs Roseline Anijekwu helps the teenagers discover their true selves, discover their talents, and maximize their potentials in life.

Gifted with a strong passion for motivational speaking (see video clips below) and a burning desire to inspire teenagers to achieve greatness, Anijekwu established Caverra World in 2015, as the medium through which she would work for the advancement of teenagers and youth development in Nigeria. She is totally committed to the building up of teenagers and youths in the society in order to make them grow to become responsible citizens of Nigeria, and to contribute positively to the development of the nation and the world at large.

As a result of Anijekwu’s commitment to teenage and youth development, her organization, the Caverra World, partnered with Holy Family Catholic Church Youths to organize the first “Teen Camp” in Lagos, Nigeria. This was in August 2019, and hosted about 100 teens aged from 13 years to 19 years of age at the Bethlehem Girls College, Abule-Ado, in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Nigeria.

Through her vision of a paradise for teenagers, Anijekwu partners with various individuals, philanthropists, corporate organizations and sponsors for the purpose of improving the welfare and wellbeing of teens, and creating a better world for teenagers. Through these partnerships, the Caverra World successfully organizes the annual Caverra World Teens Event. Miss and Mr Teen and Teens Ambassador are crowned at these events yearly.

Her efforts at showcasing the talents and abilities of teenagers had led to many teenagers receiving scholarships, sponsorships and other forms of assistance and financial aid from corporate organizations, philanthropists and private individuals in the society.

Roseline Anijekwu is not only an Amazon for the less privileged, she is also a woman with a heart of gold for the oppressed and the abandoned. To those helpless and hapless teens, she is a friend for all seasons, a beacon of hope, and a light that shines through the darkness.

In December 2019, she was inaugurated as a Patron to Youths in Amuwo-Odofin area of Lagos State, Nigeria.

She is a devout Christian, serves a Councillor in the Church, and is the General Secretary to the Association of Sacred Hearts of Jesus. She is married to Mr. Ebele Anijekwu from Anambra State, Nigeria, and they have four children.
