The Inspiring Story of “Anunebe Nnewi”, a Man Who is “Rising By Lifting Others”, Despite His Own Physical Challenges.

Hon. Amobi Okonkwo Kenneth is, reportedly, a First Class graduate of Public Administration and Management from the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Nigeria, and an indigene of Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Despite being wheelchair bound, he is a dogged advocate of good governance and social justice, and has stood out as a humanitarian servant that has impacted the lives of other persons living with disabilities. He does this through his role as the “Senior Special Assistant on Persons with Special Needs” to Senator (Dr) Patrick Ifeanyi Uba. Senator Uba is currently representing the Anambra South Senatorial District at the 9th Nigerian National Assembly.

Popularly, known as “Anunebe Nnewi”, Mr Okonkwo works with the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, and has distinguished himself as a Youth cum Community Leader.

He volunteers for the OCI Foundation, and among the representatives of the Senator Ifeanyi Uba Foundation in its dealings with the OCI Foundation International and the Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation.

The images below reveal some of his impressive works and impact to the physically challenged community, of which he is a part of.  These have endeared him to the Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation, a strong associate of the OCI Foundation International. We are pleased with Anunebe Nnewi, and wish him greater heights, as he lifts others.
