The OCI Foundation’s “Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Anti-Cancer Health Campaign” with Nigeria’s National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) is being delivered in conjunction with the Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS), the Nigerian First Ladies Against Cancer (FLAC), and the Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation (SHAHF). In addition, the Future Assured Foundation (an NGO established by the current Nigerian First Lady, HE, Aisha Buhari), the Senator Ifeanyi Uba Foundation, Breast Without Spots (BWS), and other groups, have identified with this project.
These videos capture our messages at the 37 NYSC orientation camps in Nigeria, in a project that reaches hundreds of thousands of Nigerian youths, annually. The NYSC is the largest youth organisation in Africa.
The Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Anti-Cancer Health Campaign is part of the OCI Foundation’s efforts at regularly empowering hundreds of thousands of Nigerian youths with anti-breast and anti-cervical cancer preventive messages. Nigerian Senior Secondary Schools are also the target of a related but separate arm of the ArOY Health Campaign.
The Campaign with the NYSC holds six times (editions) a year across Nigeria’s 37 National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camps. It started in with the Batch A Stream 1 (March) of 2022.
