Her Excellency, Dr Amina Abubakar Bello, the First Lady of Niger State, and the Founder of the Raise Foundation, on Tuesday, August the 31st, 2021, played host to the OCI Foundation’s Gynocular Cervical Cancer Screening team.

Among the groups in attendance were representatives of the WHO and the CHAI Charitable Foundation.

The OCI Foundation was represented by Dr Fatima Anga (the Abuja Head of Gynocular Project), Ms Felicia Dagu (the Admin), and Mr Luter Ikyobo (The Social Liaison Officer).

The Gynocular Project is an initiative of the OCI Foundation that utilizes the Gynoscope for a highly subsidized digital cervical cancer screening, and offers the service at highly subsidized costs for Nigerians.

Both the Raise Foundation and the OCI Foundation are partners in the Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign, an OCI Foundation’s initiative to introduce anti-breast and anti-cervical cancer teachings into the curriculum of all senior secondary schools in Nigeria. The Campaign already has the formal approval of Her Excellency for senior secondary schools in Niger State. The Foundation hopes to have the Campaign in all of Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT by 2025.
