Tuesday, October 25, 2022: The OCI (Onyebuchi Chris Ifediora) Foundation has honoured the invitation to a Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention Sensitization Program organized by the BUNDIES CARE SUPPORT INITIATIVE. This is the second event by this group that the OCI Foundation’s President has honored this year, with the first involving a virtual speech to stakeholders in February 2022.
This current event was held by the group at the Police Headquarters in Ilorin, Kwara State of Nigeria, and delivered in collaboration with the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA). The Kwara State Commissioner for Police, CP Paul Odama, along with his wife Mrs Lucy Odama, were chief hosts of the event.
Mrs Funmilayo Adefila-Osiegbu, a key member of the Bundies Care Group and of the Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS), facilitated the event. She anchors the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Anti-cancer Health Campaign with the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) in Kwara State, Nigeria.
The OCI Foundation was also represented also by Mr Emeka Ngele, another anchor of the ArOY Health Campaign with the Kwara State NYSC, delivered talks that gave insights on the works of OCI Foundation among Nigerian youths, which are being delivered mainly through the NYSC.
Mr Ngele also revealed that the OCI Foundation has introduced the CerviBreast Mobile Phone Application, a unique innovation that is available for free to all Nigerians for the fight against the two cancers.
