The Winners: Male and Female Teenage Faces of the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youth’s (ArOY) Health Campaign
The OCI Foundation is pleased to announce that the Teenage Faces of its Arm Our Youths Health Campaign.These are:
- Mr Ebube AKUEGBU (Aged 14; SSS 2 at time of the award) – Male Teenage Face, Arm Our Youths Health Campaign;
- Miss Chidimma Sarah UMEH (Aged 14: SS1 at time of the award) – Female Teenage Face, Arm Our Youths Health Campaign.

The winners were selected from a keenly contested “2019 Teenage Pageantry” contest organized by the Caverra World, in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 7th, 2019. Pictures from that event are available HERE. By virtue of this recognition, these Teenage Faces of the OCI Foundation’s ArOY Campaign are entitled to the following:
- The title of the “Teenage Face of the ArOY Health Campaign (Male and Female respectively)”;
- A Certificate of Recognition from the OCI Foundation;
- Automatic recipients of the OCI Foundation’s 2020 “IFOMSSA Senior Scholarship Award”;
- Are eligible to attend all OCI Foundation’s events in Nigeria, and will be recognized in those events as necessary;

The Arm Our Youths Campaign, otherwise known as the “ArOY Campaign”, is a Harvard-endorsed, evidence-based health promotion initiative of the OCI Foundation. The Campaign aims to integrate anti-breast and cervical cancer teachings into the curriculum of Nigerian senior secondary (high) schools, using a cost-effective, all-encompassing, sustainable and culturally-acceptable strategy.
