Video/Pics: Igbo Chieftaincy Explained by OCI Foundation’s President as he Joins to Celebrate Nigeria’s Igbo Culture (Brisbane, Australia; 19/4/25)

The OCI Foundation’s President and Vice President have joined in celebrating Chief Monday Ginikanwa (the Nwa Chi Turu Ugo 1 na Ugiri Mbano) and his wife (Loolo Nwa Chi Turu Ugo) on their Chieftaincy Title.

Chief (Dr) Ifediora, the Founder of the OCI Foundation International, delivered a speech on “Chieftaincy Titles in Igbo Land.” This is part of the OCI Foundation’s Social and Public Welfare program, the third tier of its activity tripod.

Other Igbo-titled chiefs and distinguished Igbos in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia attended the colourful event. Also in attendance were other non-Igbo Nigerians and leaders of multiple African communities in the Brisbane area of Australia.
