Mr. Peter Okolie, Information Technology (IT) Officer, OCI Foundation
OKOLIE, Peter Chukwuweike is a practicing journalist with over ten years working experience.
He is currently based in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, where he works as the District Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
In addition to being a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Literary Studies from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, and a Professional Diploma Certificate in Journalism from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.
He has held the positions of Financial Secretary and Vice Chairman of Correspondents’ Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, Nigeria.
Okolie is involved in multiple news and academic publications including the “FOI Act and Journalism Practice in Nigeria: An Appraisal” published by the International Institute of Academic Research and Development (IIARD).
He is currently OCI Foundation’s Information Technology (IT) Officer.
