• No matter how high you lift people, some will still pull you down . . .

• No matter how much you spend to feed people, some will still bite your fingers . . .

• No matter how much help you give out to people, some will still ask for more . . .

• No matter how much loyalty you show to people, some will still betray you . . .

• No matter how far you walk with people, some will still let you walk alone . . .

• No matter how truthful you are with people, some will still lie against you . . .

• No matter how fair you are to people, some will still cheat you . . .

. . . Expect these.

. . . Overcome the much you can.

. . . Ignore as many as you can.

. . . But never, ever, be deterred.

. . . Just do good. Keep doing good. Never cease doing good. Just enjoy doing good.

. . . And please, expect nothing back, whenever you do good.
