Designation: Media Liaison Officer, OCI Foundation

 

Mrs. Sandra Amogechukwu Udeike is the OCI Foundation’s Media Liaison Officer. She is an expert in Information Dissemination Process, having attended the International Institute of Journalism and National Broadcast Academy, Lagos, Nigeria. This Industrial Chemist-turned-Journalist has undergone multiple journalism trainings, and is presently studying Information Technology at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

 

She works as a Reporter and Editor/Controller in the Network News Directorate of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). In addition to being the Chairperson, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FRCN Headquarters Chapel, Abuja, Nigeria, she also acts as the Publicity Secretary of the FRCN Headquarters Cooperative Society, and has served twice as the Financial Secretary of the FCT Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ.

 

This formidably intelligent, focused and hardworking lady holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from Abia State University, Uturu, Nigeria. She is a “go-getter”, with a burning desire to reach out to people.

 

Since joining the OCI Foundation in mid-2020, Mrs Udeike has made significant contributions to the dissemination of information concerning the OCI Foundation’s activities, and will play a key role in engaging the public (national and international) as the Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign spreads across all parts of Nigeria.
