Saturday, April 15, 2023, Awka, Nigeria: The OCI Foundation honoured the special invitation to the wedding marriage ceremony of the son of Dr Mike Omenugha and Prof Kate Omenugha.
Dr Omenugha, the father of the groom, is a long-term boss, associate, and personal friend of the OCI Foundation’s President (Dr Chris Ifediora), while the groom’s mother, Prof Omenugha, a former Commissioner for Education in Nigeria’s Anambra State, gave the official approval that saw to the successful 2019 roll-out of the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths Anti-Cancer Health Campaign for all public senior secondary Schools in the State.
The ArOY Health Campaign is set to become a Nigerian national project, as the OCI Foundation-sponsored Legislative Bill that will see its teachings integrated into the school curriculum of all Nigeria’s senior secondary schools, scaled 3rd Reading a few weeks ago in the Nigerian National Assembly, NASS.
Prof Williams OBIOZOR of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University and an esteemed associate of the OCI Foundation, led the Foundation’s team to the wedding. He was accompanied by Mrs Imelda EMEKA (the Domestic Liaison Officer) and Mr Chiedu OBIEGBO (an Advocacy Member of the Anambra OCI Foundation Team).
