Background

A serving Corps Member with Nigeria’s National Youths Corps (NYSC) who is volunteering for the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) anti-cancer campaign, Charity Chinwendu Igwe, has been inspired to organise multiple activities for the staff at the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs (FMWA), Abuja, Nigeria, This is part of Miss Igwe’s Personal Community Development Service (CDS) Project with the NYSC. Pictures and videos from both events are captured below.

The OCI Foundation is an official partner of both the NYSC and the FMWA.

The OCI Foundation’s ArOY Anti-cancer Health Campaign is a cost-effective, high-impact initiative designed to take relevant anti-cancer messages to all parts of Nigeria. In partnership with the NYSC, the NCS, FLAC, Sweet Home Africa, and other key anti-cancer institutions in Nigeria, the messages are being delivered to schools and communities in all parts of Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The OCI Foundation looks forward to sharing more of such engagements from activities spearheaded by corps members and other youths it continually inspires across Nigeria. Thousands have already engaged in such programs through the NYSC-OCI Foundation partnership. Most of their activities are captured HERE.
