Mrs Victoria Mimidoo Akuhwa, a graduate of the University of Jos, Nigeria, majored in the Communication Arts, and graduated in 2004. She officially became a Champion of the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Campaign in January 2020. She was also instrumental to the first venture of the OCI Foundation outside Anambra State, with the introduction of the ArOY Campaign to the CDM Academy, an elite international school in Gboko, Benue State, Nigeria.
Passionate about social development and humanitarian work, Mrs Akuhwa has worked with many young adults, and mentored a lot more in the field of media during her time as the Lead Presenter and Content Provider with the Liberty FM. During her time there, she was also part of a social outreach team that held quarterly community project-based programmes designed to give back to communities in need.
A renowned fashion enthusiast, Mrs Akuhwa, who is the C.E.O Veenix Entertainment and Dosst Designs, floats a platform primarily aimed at offering mentorship to young adults who have passion for fashion, and deliberately promotes their skills in entrepreneurship.
She is also a trained journalist and TV presenter, and have with the Silverbird Television as a scriptwriter, field journalist, editor and production assistant. In this time, she was also involved in programmes dedicated to the training young children in media.
