On Friday, November 19th, 2021, Chief Femi Adesina, who is the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, hosted a high-profile delegation from the OCI Foundation.
Led by the OCI Foundation’s National Champion (and Founder of the Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation, SHAHF), Rev Dr Austin Epunam, the OCI Foundation’s team was on an appreciation tour to Mr. Adesina, who on October 19th, 2021, led the Nigerian Presidency to the OCI Foundation’s Seminar for NYSC staff delegates from Nigeria’s 36 states (and the FCT).
The highlight of the visit was the nomination of Femi Adesina to be the Executive Ambassador of the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign, which he has accepted. He will be unveiled accordingly on February 3, 2022, during the National Flag-off Ceremony of the ArOY Health Campaign with the NYSC.

The Flag-off ceremony, being sponsored by the OCI Foundation, will be delivered to Nigerians in partnership with the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), the SHAHF, the Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS), and the Nigerian First Ladies Against Cancer (FLAC). FLAC is a body made up of a group made up of 8 first ladies from some of Nigeria’s 36 states.
Other members of the OCI Foundation at today’s meeting were Alhaji Abdullahi Rufai (Networking Manager), Dr Fatima Anga (Director of Gynocular), and Mr Luter Ikyobo (Social and Entertainment Engagement Officer).
