Multiple condolence visits: OCI Foundation condoles with bereaved associates and friends in Anambra State, Nigeria (Thursday, April 8th, 2021)

Thursday, April the 8th, 2021, was a busy day for the OCI Foundation, as it attended  2 different funerals of her bereaved associates in Anambra State, Nigeria.

One of the bereaved is Dr Joe Akabuike, the former Commissioner of Health, Anambra State, who buried his later mother, Mrs Florence Onukwube AKABUIKE (aged 93 years) in his home town of Nanka, Anambra StateDr Akabuike, who was instrumental to the OCI Foundation’s launch of the Arm Our Youths Health Campaign in Anambra State, is the current Chief Medical Director of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Anambra State, and remains a friend and professional associate of the OCI Foundation. The 3-man delegation of the OCI Foundation at the event were Dr (Mrs) Njide EZEONYEJIAKU, Mr Ozor Fidelis ONYIA, and Mr Jude OBIEZEAZU.

The OCI Foundation's National Champion, Rev Dr Austine Epunam (left), who is also the President of the Sweet Home Africa Foundation (SHAF), was also on ground to pay his condolences to Dr Akabuike (middle). Accompanying him was Mr Ikenna Onuzulike, the SHAF's National Coordinator.

Also on the same day, a 2-man delegation of the OCI Foundation attended the funeral of late Mr Chidozie OKOLI (Aged 53 years) in Igbo Ukwu, Anambra State. Mr Okoli was the brother of the OCI Foundation’s late Fashion Consultant, Mrs Chiugo OKOLI-EZEIKE. We are grateful to Chidimma UMEOKAFOR and Vivian ONYEKWELU, for an excellent representation.
