Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Abuja, Nigeria: Partnership on the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Health Campaign (From Nov 2019)
Nov 5th, 2019: The OCI Foundation met with the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Dame Pauline Tallen, at the National Office in Abuja, Nigeria. The Honourable Minister was represented by a delegation of senior officers in the Ministry, led by Mrs. Jummai Mohammed (the Director Child Development Department), Mr. Tunde Olisi (Senior Social Welfare Officer) and Mrs Ebele Udechukwu (Community Development Officer).
Nov 26th, 2019: The OCI Foundation met with the Permanent Secretaries of all the 36 State Ministries (and the FCT) of Women Affairs & Social Development, in Abuja, Nigeria. The OCI Foundation's representatives (Mr Sam Agwa and Dr Ramatu Ibrahim) donated 40 free ArOY Textbooks to all the Perm Secs, and made a formal presentation on the need to introduce the ArOY Campaign in all the 36 States of Nigeria (and the FCT).
May 22, 2020: OCI Foundation donates COVID-19 prevention materials to Nigeria’s Ministry of Women Affairs, with the Honorable Minister, Dame Tallen, on hand to receive the items in person.
July the 24th, 2020: OCI Foundation hosted the representatives of Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Women Affairs (FMWA), at their Office in Sinoki House, Abuja, Nigeria. The OCI Foundation was represented by a 5-man team from its Advocacy Unit, and included Mr Sam Agwa (the Head), Dr Ramatu Umar Ibrahim, Miss Felicia Dagu, Mr Luter Ikyobo. Mrs Sandra Udeike (who is also the incoming Public Communication officer of the Foundation).
