Sunday, September 5, 2022:
As part of its commitment to build partnerships that will ensure to the smooth delivery of its anti-cancer project across Nigeria, the Onyebuchi Chris Ifediora (OCI Foundation), led by its National Champion, Rev Dr Austin Epunam, were guests at the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) Headquarters, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Rev Epunam is also the Founder of the Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation, SHAHF, who are the publishers of the prestigious Sweet Home News-Magazine.
On behalf of the Founder of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the OCI Foundation-SHAHF team were received by Pastor Godwin Amadi, the Resident Pastor at the Ministry’s headquarters in Port Harcourt.
Rev Epunam is a long-time member of the Aso Rock Chapel, and is also an associate of the Nigerian Christians Pilgrims Council (NCPC). At this visit, he offered to sponsor a Jerusalem pilgrimage trip for Mr Kenneth Aguba the popular Nigerian Nollywood actor who is now domiciled at the OPM abode in Portharcourt, after becoming homeless recently. This offer, Rev Epunam explained to the congregation, has become necessary so as to ensure that Mr Aguba, who had earlier expressed a desire for a pilgrimage to Israel for spiritual exercise, realizes his dream.
Rev Epunam further commended the OPM Leader, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, for his charity works to humanity, which has earned him the “Father of Charity” in Nigeria. He explained that the OCI Foundation International and the SHAHF look forward to an expanded partnership that will now include the OPM, which will ensure that the innovative anti-cancer initiatives of the Foundation will reach many more Nigerians. Talks are ongoing to this effect.
Alongside Rev Epunam, the other members of the OCI Foundation-Sweet Home team were Mr Ikenna Onuzulike (the National Coordinator, SHAHF), Comrade David Okafor (of the SHAHF) and Frank Laga (also the Head of Media, OPM Worldwide).
