All Pics & Videos: 9th Edition (2025) IFOMSSA Awards Ceremony (Senior and Junior) on January 24, 2025

Introduced in 2017, the IFOMSSA (Ifedioramma Okafor Memorial Secondary School Academic) awards was established in loving memory of the late Obi Ifedioramma Isaac Okafor, who is the father of the OCI Foundation Founder, Dr. Chris Ifediora.

This year’s (2024) Awards-giving Ceremony is the 9th Edition, and was held on January 24, 2025.

The IFOMSSA Senior Scholarship is one of the 7 different awards on offer by the OCI Foundation, was named after the later Mr Ifedioramma Isaac Okafor (1939 to 2016), an Education Champion and father of the OCI Foundation’s Founder and President, Dr Chris Ifediora.

Winners were selected from the annual IFOMSSA Challenge, a yearly one-day examination organised by the OCI Foundation in conjunction with the Otuocha Zone of the Anambra State Post Primary Schools Service Commission, PPSSC (who is in charge of the educational activities in Anambra East Local Government Area of Nigeria). This year’s Challenge was held on January 17, 2025.

The IFOMSSA Senior Award covers the registration fees of the winners’ 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Examination Commission (NECO) Examinations.

Winners of the IFOMMSA Senior Award will also have their Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) Examination registration fees automatically covered once they indicate interest in proceeding with this exam.
