In loving memory of Bradley Hope (2003 to 2019): a donation and message from the “Troy Family” to the “OCI Foundation”.

Sharing is caring!

With a deep sense of gratitude, laced with inevitable sadness, the OCI Foundation acknowledges the receipt of a cash donation from Mr Troy Hope, father of the late Bradley Hope (18/07/2003 to 08/12/2019).

Bradley, an Australian, was only 16 years old when he tragically lost his life on December 8th, 2019. The pain is deep and irreparable, and the entire OCI Foundation commiserates with Troy and the entire Hope Family.

In the midst of this tragedy, Troy and his Family have decided to touch lives, and through the OCI Foundation, they have taken a big step in supporting the education of some less privileged youths in Africa. Bradley might have had his life cut short, but, in death, he wants to lift the lives of people he never met . . . .

On December the 27th, 2019, the Hope Family donated the sum of A$300 (three hundred Australian Dollars) towards the activities of the OCI Foundation. This amount, we understand, came from what was to be part of the late Bradley’s shopping money for the 2019 Christmas.

The OCI Foundation has accepted this donation, and will work with the Hope Family to ensure that an their vision for this donation is actualized. We also hope to establish an enduring legacy that will be befitting to the late Bradley. He might left this world at a very young age, but the gesture from his family to inspire thousands of other young lives that they do not know, is one that must be supported, nurtured and sustained.

May Bradley’s gentle soul, rest in peace.

      You are welcome, Rhonda.
Hopefully, we can work with Troy, his father, to do a lot more that will ease the pain of his passing.
Please accept our deepest condolences on this very painful loss.
