Dr Chris Ifediora, the OCI Foundation’s President, has been voted as the “Diaspora Humanitarian of the Year” Award at the 6th Edition of the Leadership Excellence (LEEX) Awards held on November 2, 20224 at the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) Banquet Hall, in Abuja, Nigeria.

Ifediora received the most votes ahead of three other nominees to receive this coveted recognition. In their citation, the “Igbere TV News”, the organisers of the well attended and star-studded event, described Dr Ifediora as a “Visionary Leader . . . whose academic and professional experiences spanning four continents and whose humanitarian impact reaches Nigeria, Australia and beyond”.

At the event, Chris Ifediora was represented by a team of the OCI Foundation led by Alhaji (Dr) Abdullahi Aliyu Rufai, the organisation’s Networking Manager. He was accompanied by Dr Fatima Inusa Anga, Mr Luter Ikyobo, Miss Chinwendu Igwe and Miss Halima Inusa Anga, all of the Abuja Advocacy team of the OCI Foundation.
