Luter Emmanuel IKYOBO is a Nollywood Actor and the OCI Foundation’s Social and Entertainment Liaison Officer. He is also a member of the Foundation’s Advocacy Team in Abuja (Nigeria), and hails from Benue State, Nigeria. He is a graduate of Theatre Arts, Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria.

In his stated role, Luter acts as the OCI Foundation’s link to Nigeria’s Movie Industry, Nollywood Nigeria, (the world’s 3rd largest movie industry) and works with our Lagos Champion, Mrs Roseline Anijekwu, to manage our involvement in pageantry activities across the tertiary institutions and all the 36 states in Nigeria.

An established actor, Luter made his debut in the television film “Mama Gee Goes Mad” which was directed by Ugezu J. Ugezu, and shot in Benue State, Nigeria, and had a lot of Nollywood actors involved in the project. That was the fuel needed to fire his dreams of becoming one of the best actors ever to come out of his State, and Nigeria in general.

His dreams, having been set on fire, made him leave Benue in search of movies, directors, and actors to work with, and he has since struck gold. He has now worked with a whole lot of respected actors home and abroad including Hakeem Kae-Kazim a Hollywood actor.

He has now featured in over 50 movies including, True legends, Born to Live, Natasha (directed by Ifeanyi Onyeabor), the Island, and Kada River (directed by Toka Mcbaror). Others are Pillars of Africa (by One Soul), Operation Last Dance (produced by Ejebo), the Holy Communion (directed by JP), House Keeper, Love and Pain, Police Alert, Doctor, Mama Cas, and Hotel manager (directed by Rose Benson).

He has also featured in No Parking (directed by Ebere), Almost Perfect (directed by Wale Adesanya), Price for Immortality (by Young G), Miss and Mrs, the Eagle Wings (directed by Paul Apel Papel), Mother of Good Conceal (directed by Israel), and a host of other movies.

In-between his acting career, Luter has taken part a reality TV show called ‘HEROES REALITY TV SHOW“, where he emerged as the first runner up and ended up with the Title “AMBASSADOR OF CULTURE AND TOURISM, BENUE STATE”.

Mr Luter Ikyobo is the true definition of a Benue son. He is hardworking, talented, innovative, and has an unquenchable thirst for success. These are the qualities that have endeared him to the OCI Foundation.

His innovative ideas have helped propel the Foundation forward on many fronts, and the Foundation is proud to have him in its Advocacy Team.
