04 Dec 2021 Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) recognizes the OCI Foundation’s President as an “Outstanding NGO Health Convener” (Abuja, Nigeria; 03/12/21)

The OCI Foundation’s President Assoc Prof Chris Ifediora was recognized as an “OUSTANDING NGO HEALTH CONVENER” by the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ). This was part of the events to mark the annual “PRESS WEEK” by the body’s FRCN (Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria) Headquarters Chapel in Abuja, Nigeria.
In a letter from the NUJ to the OCI Foundation’s President (see copy below), the NUJ stated that “the award is in recognition of the humanitarian service which your Foundation has offered cancer patients, and the efforts in putting cancer as an ailment of public concern on the front burner of public discourse”.
