HIGH LEVEL CONSULTATIONS AHEAD OF THE ARM OUR YOUTHS CAMPAIGN ROLL-OUT
As part of the ongoing consultations ahead of the flag-off of the “Arm Our Youths” (ArOY) Health Campaign, delegations from the OCI Foundation have been meeting individuals and corporate institutions. Two of such meetings were held on Monday, August the 5th, 2019.
In Abuja, the Federal Capital of Nigeria, high level meetings were held between Mr Sam Agwa (Advocacy Team Lead of the OCI Foundation), Mr Daniel “the Bull”Amokachi (one of Nigeria’s finest ex-soccer players), and Chief Alex Addingi (the CEO of the prestigious Silk Road Chinese Restaurant, Abuja).

Same day, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria, a seperate delegation led by the OCI Foundation’s Legal Adviser, Barr Steve Onyechi Ononye, visited the Dean, Students Affairs Department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Stanley UDEDI. Nnamdi Azikiwe University, one of Nigeria‘s leading universities, will host the “3-day Flag-off and Workshop” of the ArOY Campaign, scheduled from the 10th to the 12th of September, 2019. The ArOY Campaign is a Harvard-endorsed, evidence-based, anti-breast and anti-cervical cancer health promotion initiative of the OCI Foundation. The roll-out in Nigeria commences in the State of Anambra (one of the country’s 36 states) from September 15th, 2019, and will be completed by 2025.
