OCI Foundation forms part of a visitation team to the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Chairman, Lagos State, Nigeria

After the successful selection of the “Teenage Faces of the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths Health Campaign” (December 7th, 2019), the male and female winners, accompanied by Mrs Roseline Anijekwu (Founder of Caverra World, who were the main sponsors of the Miss Teen 2019) and Miss Peace Ogbonnaya of the OCI Foundation, paid a courtesy call to Engr. Valentine Buraimoh, the Chairman of the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Nigeria. This was on Monday, December 9th, 2019. see the video at the bottom.

The Pageantry and Courtesy Visit are parts of the developing partnership between the “OCI Foundation” and “Caverra World, Lagos“. Currently, this collaboration is geared towards the provision of motivations, inspirations, and coaching to Nigerian Teens. Ultimately, however, it will lead to the introduction of the “Arm Our Youths Health Campaign” into Lagos State, Nigeria.

The “ArOY Campaign” is a Harvard-endorsed, evidence-based health promotion initiative of the OCI Foundation that aims to integrate anti-breast and cervical cancer teachings into the curriculum of Nigerian senior secondary (high) schools using a cost-effective, all-encompassing, sustainable and culturally-acceptable strategy.
