16 Mar 2021 THE 2021 IFOMSSA AWARDS: Winners’ List for the IFOMSSA Scholarship Awards (Senior and Junior); March 16th, 2021
The OCI Foundation is pleased to announce the 44 winners of the 2021 IFOMSSA Junior and Senior Awards. Introduced in 2017, the IFOMSSA (Ifedioramma Okafor Memorial Secondary School Academic) Awards was established in loving memory of the late Obi Ifedioramma Isaac Okafor, who is the father of the OCI Foundation Founder, Dr. Chris Ifediora. The primary beneficiaries are students enrolled in the Otuocha Educational Zone of Anambra State, Nigeria, which includes towns in Anambra East, Anambra West, and Ayamelum Local Government Areas. Nevertheless, students outside this Zone, who are enrolled in any eligible school in the Zone, are allowed to benefit if they make it on merit.
The annual IFOMSSA Scholarship awards are among the 6 groups of scholarship programs on offer by the OCI Foundation. This is the 5th set of winners. The Senior IFOMSSA Award covers the entire registration fees of the winners for the 2020 Senior Secondary School (NECO and WASSCE) exams, while the Junior IFOMSSA Award covers the entire fees of the winners for the 2021 Junior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (JSSCE).
