OCI Foundation Celebrates, as her Legal Adviser, Barr Steve Onyechi, Becomes a “Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)”

The OCI Foundation International is pleased to announce that her Legal Adviser, BARR STEVE ONYECHI ONONYE, has been elevated to the rank of a “SENIOR ADVOCATE OF NIGERIA (SAN)”.

Barr Ononye was one of the 62 legal practitioners honoured with this call to the inner bar by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) during its 154th plenary session that was held on Thursday, September the 29^th, 2022. Details of the announcement can be found HERE.

The rank of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) is awarded as a mark of excellence to members of the Nigerian legal profession that have distinguished themselves as advocates and academics.

Barr Ononye, along with 61 other new SANs, will be sworn in at a ceremony scheduled for Monday, the 21st day of November, 2022, in Abuja, Nigeria.

The OCI Foundation Global Family is thrilled with this honour that has been done to one of her most senior, most dedicated, and most influential members. Barr Ononye was instrumental to the formal incorporation of the OCI Foundation (Nigeria), and played a key role in nurturing the Foundation from its early days.
