UNIZIK ALUMNI CONVERGE 2024 (All Pics/Video): Merit Bronze Award for the OCI Foundation’s President, Chris Ifediora (12/4/24)

The OCI Foundation’s Founder and President, Dr Chris Ifediora, has been honoured with the “Merit Bronze Award” at the first-ever UNIZIK ALUMNI CONVERGE.

The UNIZIK Converge is a gathering of esteemed Alumni, friends, and stakeholders of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Nigeria. This maiden edition was held at the ASUU Secretariat within the University.

Hosted by the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Charles Esimone (who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof Joe Ikechebelu), the Converge featured award presentations to distinguished individuals for their contributions to Nnamdi Azikiwe University and to humanity. There were also talks from some distinguished Nigerians.

The OCI Foundation’s President, an alumnus of the UNIZIK Medical School, was represented by a team led by the Foundation’s Media Consultant, Dr Njide Ezeonyejiaku. Others in the team included Mr Onyibor Machie (the Special Assistant to the President’s on Scholarships and Special Duties, SASSD) and Mr Chinedu Obiegbo (an Advocacy team member in Anambra State). Also in the delegation were potential Cyfed Scholars (beneficiaries of the Foundation’s educational programs),  Miss Treasure Godwin and Chidiebere Kammuo, both undergraduates of UNIZIK.

The OCI Foundation is pleased with this award, and is grateful to UNIZIK for honouring Dr Chris Ifediora. Special thanks to the organisers of the Alumni Converge, particularly the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Dr Evaristus Afiadigwe.
