29 Oct 2023 2023 International Cancer Week (ICW): OCI Foundation’s 3rd Participation in Nigeria’s elite Cancer Conference (Abuja, Nigeria; 24/10/23 – 27/10/23)
October 24-29, 2021: The OCI Foundation featured at the International Cancer Week (ICW) in Abuja, Nigeria. This is the third time in four years of the Foundation’s participation at this event, which was, again, hosted at the NAF Event Centre, Ahmadu Bello Way, Abuja, Nigeria. The OCI Foundation was represented by Dr Fatima Anga, Ms Felicia Dagu, and Mr Luter Ikyobo.
The Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS) and its partners, of which the OCI Foundation is a member of, organised the event.

At the Stakeholder’s Summit on Cervical Cancer Elimination in Nigeria, staged as part of the conference, the OCI Foundation made a presentation titled “LEGISLATIVE ANGLE TO NIGERIAN ANTI-CERVICAL CANCER CAMPAIGN: USING SENIOR SCHOOL EDUCATION AS THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENCE”. Dr Fatima spoke on behalf of the Foundation at this event.
