APRIL/MAY, 2021: As part of its commitment to ensuring that the best is delivered to Nigerians, the OCI Foundation embarked on a capacity-building project of its team members in Abuja, Nigeria. Firstly, the Foundation’s Social and Entertainment Liaison Officer, Mr Luter Ikyobo, had a 3-week professional upgrade of his driving skills in the month of April, 2021. This is in line with the Foundation’s commitment to the safety of its staff and other Nigerians.

Thereafter, from the beginning of May, 2021, both Mr Ikyobo and Ms Felicia Dagu (the Foundation’s Admin Officer), commenced a 3-month training on information technology.

Both OCI Foundation’s officers were also beneficiaries from the MedAssist Corporate Health Program of the Murtala Mohammed Foundation, a 30-minute awareness talk on COVID-19 and Mental Well-being of corporate organisations that was held virtually on May the 5th, 2021. General Murtala Mohammed (1938 to 1976) was a former Nigerian military head of state, who was assassinated in 1976 following a military coup.

The OCI Foundation is an international NGO that is functional in both Nigeria and Australia, which was established in 2016 with the aim of Promoting and Advancing Health, Advancing Education, and Advancing Social and Public Welfare among the Nigerian populace.
