Official DMS Book Launch: Pics/Video as OCI Foundation Champion in Lagos and CEO of Caverra World, Cement Legacy (14/5/23; Lagos, Nigeria)

Sunday, May 14, 2023 (Lagos, Nigeria): It was a gathering of elites, book lovers and teen enthusiasts, as the teen coach, Mrs Roseline Ify Anijekwu, officially launched her inspirational first book titled “Discover, Maximize, Soar (DMS)”.  The OCI Foundation’s President, who was represented by Barr Okey UKABI and his wife (Mrs Pamela Oby UKABI), was the Chief Launcher at the colourful event, which was staged at the Rockview Hotel, FESTAC Town, Lagos, Nigeria.

Mrs. Anijekwu is the Founder and Convener of Caverra World, a registered not-for-profit organization that coaches, inspires, motivates, and positively orientates teenagers toward greatness. She is also the OCI Foundation’s Champion for Lagos State, Nigeria.

Among the dignitaries at the event were the  Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Hon Folashade Adefisayo (represented), as well as Rev Dr Yakubu PAM, a current Member of the Nigerian Presidency and the incumbent Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Council (NCPC). Rev Pam is an esteemed associate of the OCI Foundation, who has repeatedly engaged the Foundation on multiple occasions (like, during his 2-year-in-office anniversary in 2022, during a condolence visit following the loss of his mum in January 2022, and during a courtesy visit in August 2020).

A side-show at the book launch was the official presentation of the 2023 Edition of the prestigious Sweet Home Magazine, a product of the Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation (SHAHF) that was founded by  Rev Dr Austin Epunam (a member of  the Aso Rock Villa Chapel and a Christian Pilgrim Presidential Award Winner. Rev Epunam is also the  National Champion of the OCI Foundation.

The DMS aligns very well with the Foundation’s third aim, which is to Advance Public and Social Welfare. The book aims to help young ones discover their true selves, maximize their potentials, and soar to greater heights. The OCI Foundation fully endorses and supports the DMS. That is why its President, Dr Chris Ifediora, honoured to the invitation as the Chief Launcher.

The book is supported by the Lagos State Government of Nigeria, whose Commissioner for Education, Hon Folashade Adefisayo, hosted Mrs Anijekwu and an OCI Foundation team on May 5, 2023.
