Alongside the annual financial rewards, Cyfed Scholars also have the following benefits:
- Membership of an exclusive social media group, where they will interact with one another, as well as with the President of the OCI Foundation, Dr. Chris Ifediora;
- An automatic invitation to key activities of the OCI Foundation across Nigeria;
- Encouragement to positively promote and publicize the OCI Foundation’s activities on health, education and other empowerment activities.
These privileges are lifelong, so long as good behaviour is maintained. So, even if a Cyfed Scholar loses the financial reward by failing to meet the annual academic standards, all the aforementioned benefits will remain, provided that the character requirements are maintained.
