
09 Feb Charity at an IDP Camp: OCI Foundation visits and supports internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria (05/02/2021)
On Friday, the 5th day of February, 2021, the OCI Foundation visited an IDP (internally displaced persons) Camp in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. The IDP camps are the places of abode for Nigerians who are displaced by violence, particularly those due to attacks by Boko Haram extremists in Northern Nigeria.
At the visit, the OCI Foundation donated food items, and was represented by Ms Felicia Dagu (the Admin Officer III), Mr Luter Ikyobo (the Social and Entertainment Liaison officer), and Queen Vera Iortyer (Miss Tiv, and the Foundation’s Face of Benue Face of the Foundation’s ArOY Health Campaign).
