July the 18th of every year, marks the birthday of the late Bradley John Hope (July 8th, 2003 to December 8th, 2019). Were he to still be alive today, he would have celebrated his 18th birthday this year, 2021. Details from last year’s (2020) event can be found HERE.
Brad was a kind-hearted, 16-year old Australian boy, who tragically lost his life following a freak domestic accident on December 8th, 2019. In his memory, his family, in collaboration with the OCI Foundation, established the Cyfed-Bradley Hope Scholarship Award, which makes annual donations to financially disadvantaged Nigerians in tertiary institutions.
The first set of CBH scholarships was awarded in 2020, while the second set of winners emerged in 2021. In the accompanying video, the beneficiaries of this award, known as “Cyfed Scholars“, pay tributes to the late Brad Hope, his father, Troy Hope, and all member of the Hope Family.
The CBH Award is one of the Six scholarships awards being administered by the OCI Foundation.
