Full Story (and all the pics): Winners of the “2021 JAMB Scholarship Award” of the OCI Foundation (April 21st, 2021)

On Wednesday, April the 21^st, 2021, the OCI Foundation delivered on its promise yet again, as the beneficiaries of the 2021 JAMB Awards, received their scholarships.

The JAMB Award, which started in 2019 and is now in its 3rd year,  is one of the 6 scholarships on offer by the OCI Foundation, and covers the full registration fees of its recipients into the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). It is an exam that is used to select prospective students into Nigerian tertiary institutions.

This year’s Award was special, as Ma Josephine Nwaodu OKAFOR, the Grand Auntie of the OCI Foundation’s President and Founder, graced the occasion, which was held at the Ifedioramma Family’s Country Home in Nsugbe Town, Anambra State, Nigeria.

The awards were presented on behalf of the OCI Foundation by Mrs Anthonia CHIGBATA, the Overseer of the Foundation’s Empowerment Activities. Also in attendance were Mr Jude OBIEZEAZU and Mr Chinonso MAKO, both members of the Foundation’s Advocacy Group in Anambra State of Nigeria.
