All Pics: OCI Foundation UK Speaks at the “2024 Africa Healthcare Awards and Summit by the Zenith Global Health” (Accra, Ghana, April 22 and 23, 2024)

The OCI Foundation UK has featured at the “2024 Africa Healthcare Awards and Summit by Zenith Global Health”, which was held over the two days of April 22 and 23, 2024 at the Accra International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana.

The event, organised by the “Zenith Global Health”, was themed “HUMAN RESOURCES FOR HEALTH AND HEALTH TECHNOLOGY – BRIDGING THE GAP”.

The Summit itself was held on April 22, while the Awards Ceremony was on April 23. Pictures from both events are shown further below.

The OCI Foundation UK was represented by her new associates in Ghana, Miss Anfonia Adamtey and Mr Joe Gideon. Miss Adamtey delivered a speech on behalf of the Foundation’s President, Dr Chis Ifediora.

The speech, titled “The CerviBreast app—an OCI Foundation initiative to bridge the gap in Human Resources for Health and Health Technology,” provided insights on the innovative CerviBreast App and the OCI Foundation’s efforts to make it a game-changing technological tool in the fight against cancers in Nigeria and across Africa.

Zenith Global Health was founded by Mrs Mary Akangbe (FAPH), a UK-based Social Entrepreneur and Senior Nursing Practitioner. Mrs Akangbe and Zenith Global Health are working on a partnership with the newly established OCI Foundation UK.

When fully functional, the OCI Foundation-Zenith Global partnership will see the OCI Foundation’s “Literary Award for Medical Students (LAMS)” and its other projects on Health, Education, and Public/Social Welfare become operational across the United Kingdom.
