Women married to men from the Orukabi Clan of Amumu Village, Nsugbe in Anambra State of Nigeria show appreciation to the OCI Foundation for supporting their Housing Project. This was on Augist 13, 2024. They are otherwise known as the “Inyom Orukabi” (wives of Orukabi).
The OCI Foundation’s President, Dr Onyebuchi Chris Ifediora, is from the Orukabi Clan of Amumu Village, Nsugbe, Anambra State, Nigeria.
Established in 2016, the OCI Foundation is an international NGO that is registered in Nigeria (2016), Australia (2018) and the UK (2023). It has activities across 3 major areas, which are to “Promote and Advance Health”, “Advance Education”, and “Advance Social & Public Welfare” among the Nigerian populace.
Since its creation, indigenes of Nsugbe, the Founder’s home town, have been major beneficiaries of the OCI Foundation’s activities, particularly its annual educational scholarship schemes, and social welfare/empowerment programs. More benefits are expected in the coming years, not just for Nsugbe indigenes, but the rest of Nigerians.
